Trying out Ecto for blogging from the mac

Another option for blogging from the desktop. Ecto says it integrates with drupal blogs, that should be interesting to set up.

Welcome to the RaceOneDesign.com development blog. Just want to keep people updated on what's happening on the site in terms of development. Spent the day immersed in fckeditor coding, deciding to ditch the fckeditor wrapper module in favor of a building my own "fcklite" integration module using a custom drupal FAPI element. Will take more time than just dealing with the FCKeditor module config pages, but I just couldn't get the editor to work properly when implemented through the wrapper module. For example, italics did not work in the editor. Also thought I'd see what blogger does for WYSIWYG editing. The autosave is a nice feature, and I like the simplified toolbar.
